Yarrow Salve for Postpartum Skin Care - Soothing After Birth Balm with Calendula - Natural Baby Shower Gift - Herbal Perineum Ointment

This salve is made using yarrow (leaves and flowers), calendula, rosemary, lavender and sweet marjoram. I use a process of gentle heat extraction to coax the volatile oils and soluble constituents from the herbs into the grapeseed/olive oil. The result is a high-quality herbal oil that becomes the base of this salve. I add essential oils of lavender, frankincense and geranium to support the herbal properties and impart a sweet and grounding aroma. Our salves are made with organic, freshly picked herbs.

There are no added fragrances, dyes or preservatives. Best if used within 3months after purchase. For longer shelf life refrigerate. This is an all-natural product firmed with beeswax. It is normal for this product to melt in hot conditions (80°+). Store in a cool dry place or refrigerate. Melting does not compromise the quality of the product. Refrigeration will firm it up again.

We use gentle heat over a period of 24-48hrs to extract all of the soluble constituents from the herbs to create high quality herbal oils for the base of our salves and balms. We use solid or amber colored containers to package our products to preserve the delicate volatile essential oils within. Our perfume oils are handcrafted using only pure essential oils and herbal base oils. We believe in transparency and disclose all of the ingredients that go into making our products. There are no hidden synthetics tucked behind fancy names in our products. Our wood products are handcrafted from native trees that have either died naturally or would have been consigned to the chipper had they not been rescued by the hands of an artist. Each piece is unique and communicates the essence of the tree it came from. These bowls are more than essential elements of a well-stocked kitchen, they are native works of art!
